Amsterdam part 4: the architecture

As I said, in a previous post regarding the people, the dutch seem to a lot of freedom while using public spaces. You can easily see how the lifestyle here has a great influence on architecture, or is it the other way around ? who knows ? I like to think that architecture can change the people. So we went visiting Christian Klerk’s accommodation building, known as het ship. The guide told us that how socially the architect were involved. And how he wanted his architecture to be unique and experimental. Even nowadays, the echos of Amsterdam school are traveling through architects and urban planer’s minds.
